Traditional Chinese is on the Menu

We all like great food. There is one thing that you can count on, that is no matter where you are located in this world, you can enjoy traditional Chinese food. Chinese food is a very popular cuisine in most all parts of the world. Traditional Chinese food is normally served in bite sized pieces, making it easier for you chop stick users. Myself, I have to stick to the fork. I like to taste my food, not wear it.
Depending on what part of the world you are in, the traditional Chinese food may vary slightly. In China and other Asian countries they use fish in most dishes and prefer steamed dumplings. In other countries like the U.S., chicken and pork are in a traditional Chinese meal and the steamed dumplings are replaced with egg rolls or fries wonton. Rice, noodles and vegetables are traditional Chinese favorites no matter what part of the world you are eating in. If you are like me, you like a variety when you eat. Luckily Chinese food offers such a variety. The sweet and sour chicken, orange flavored chicken, broccoli and beef and the lists goes on. If you are a pork rib lover, then you have to love the traditional Chinese baby back pork ribs. They are also chewy and cooked perfectly. For all of you vegetarians, even you can get a hardy and healthy meal. There are plenty of dishes that are all veggie. I always go for the dishes that have chicken. Traditional Chinese chicken dishes can not be beat. Sweet flavored to hot and spicy to the extremely hot and very spicy. The one thing that always impresses me, is the Chinese restaurant setting. The traditional tea, the appetizers followed by the main course. Chinese food is always colorful and looking at it all on the table, it makes my mouth water. There is something about the atmosphere that is relaxing and the food always tastes so good. Of course the best part comes at the end. Yes, I am talking about the fortune cookie. What is your fortune?
